Fiber artist hooked on turning strings into beautiful things

Thank you for visiting my shop. Please browse through the listings to find a handmade gift for someone special (yourself included).

My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was a little girl. She had the love and patience to teach a lefty how to crochet with her right hand and then accept all of my “gifts.” Let’s just say my first creations were full of love and a lot of character. I enjoyed making scarves in the winter and the occasional blanket, but I really fell in love with crochet over the past few years. My love for creating things with my hands has introduced me to so many wonderful people and ways to create including various fiber arts, wire wrapping crystals and beaded items.

The name “Momma Jenkins” was a nickname one of my Soldiers gave me while I was a platoon sergeant. I love it just as much now as I did then, and as you can see by the shop name...I’m keeping it.
